About Me: Balázs Scheidler

My name is Balázs Scheidler, the original founder of the syslog-ng project. I have been a syslog-ng contributor who provided vision, guidance, code and documentation to the project for over two decades.

Apart from working through the project infrastructure at github, I created this site to facilitate syslog-ng related discussions with anyone who deploys, uses or maintains syslog-ng in their own DevOps, IT or security infrastructure.

I plan to post ideas and plans to solicit feedback. I also plan to post about use cases and examples to help syslog-ng adoption.
